Friday Food Share
Our food distribution program, the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, is currently held at the Cottage Grove Community Center, 700 E. Gibbs Avenue. We welcome income-eligible individuals and families (up to 200% above the poverty level) to “share” in the abundance of produce and other perishables. Bring a box/tote for reuse. Please arrive at 3:30pm to help the event run smoothly and allow time for sign-in, orientation, guidelines and announcements. (We work as a team to set up, clean up and assist others.)
•Volunteer drivers and vehicles (truck, mini-van, trailer) to transport food.
•Volunteer for: Friday Food Share, information booth, fundraising.
•If knowledgeable about grant writing or resources, talk to us.
•Be considered for a work group or project committee.
•Donate time, goods, services.
